Refunds, cancellations, and billing

This page describes our subscription billing practices, how to cancel, and how to request a refund forStatement Flowz (“Service”), operated by Orbitech LLC (“Orbitech”). Payment processing is handled by our payment provider (Polar, polar.sh), subject to their terms as well. This page supplements our Terms of Service and does not replace it.
1. What you are purchasing
A paid plan generally includes ongoing access to premium features of the Service (e.g. unlimited statement conversions) for the subscription period you select, billed in advance for each billing cycle until cancelled. The exact name, price, and included features are shown at checkout and may be updated for new customers with notice as required.
2. Free tier
We may offer a free tier with a limited number of conversions per period. The free tier may change, and we do not charge for it, so refunds do not apply to the free tier.
3. Renewals and cancellation
Subscriptions renew automatically at the end of each billing period unless you cancel before the renewal date. You can cancel at any time through the billing or customer portal link we provide (e.g. Stripe customer portal, when enabled), or by contacting legal@orbitech.com with the email on your account.
Effect of cancellation: you keep access to paid features until the end of the current paid period. We do not refund the unused portion of the current period by default, except as stated below or as required by law.
4. Refund policy
General policy: All fees are generally non-refundable after purchase, but we will consider a refund in the following cases:
- Billing error: you were charged incorrectly or twice for the same period—contact us within 14 days and we will correct it or issue a refund to the original payment method.
- Service failure: a documented outage or product defect prevented you from any meaningful use of a paid feature for a sustained period during your subscription—we may prorate a credit or partial refund, at our discretion, after a good-faith support review.
- Legal right of withdrawal (EU/UK/others): if you are a consumer, you may have a statutory right to cancel within 14 days of purchase, unless you have used digital content in a way that means performance has started with your prior consent. Check your local rules; we will honor applicable law and respond to valid requests at legal@orbitech.com.
Not refundable: we typically do not refund for change of mind, lack of time to use the Service, dissatisfaction with parsing accuracy (you are responsible for verifying all outputs), or account termination for violation of our Terms. Chargebacks: before initiating a card dispute, contact us; we attempt to resolve issues quickly to avoid payment disputes.
5. How to request a refund or billing help
Email legal@orbitech.com with the email on your account, approximate charge date, and a short description. We will respond as soon as practicable, typically within several business days. Approved refunds are issued to the original payment method; timing depends on your bank and the payment network.
6. Plan changes and price changes
We may offer upgrades/downgrades. If you upgrade mid-cycle, your payment provider may prorate. If we change your price for a renewal, we will provide notice in advance as required, and you may cancel before the next renewal to avoid the new price.
